Kayak
tours:
The tour includes a super stable
sit-on-top kayak, paddle, seatback, wetsuit, dry bag, paddling instruction
and safety orientation.
The tour is 2 hours long and includes
use of the kayak after the tour.
The
guided tour is recommended for novices or experienced
kayakers new to the Monterey Bay: our guides instruct you in
basic paddling
and guide you to points of interest. Groups with children,
elderly, nonswimmers, or weak paddlers are asked join a guided tour.
The historic Monterey waterfront
was one of the first settlements on the West Coast and famous for the Cannery's
in the early 20th century that John Steinbeck made legendsary in his
book Cannery Row. You'll see remnants of original cannery foundations & equipment.
Advance ticket
purchase is required. People without advance tickets are allowed as space
permits.
Most tours range in number from
4-8 people. We can accomodate large groups up to 45 people per tour.
Tours are available to people of
all ages and athletic ability. Guided tours move at a very leisurely pace.
